Your condition is unique to you, so we use key diagnostic tests to determine the root cause of your specific case. We combine our expertise with state-of-the-art technology to provide the most advanced diagnosis and determine the best course of treatment for you.

We are at the forefront of urodynamics testing, which is the assessment of how effectively your bladder and urethra are storing and releasing urine. These studies help us to gain comprehensive understanding of your bladder function and evaluate causes for your condition.

To conduct these tests, a specialized catheter is placed in your bladder to measure function during bladder filling, activities performed with a full bladder, and voiding.

Cystoscopy is a diagnostic procedure where a small camera is inserted into your urethra and the bladder to provide a visual evaluation of your condition. The procedure can help identify urinary tract issues, such as early signs of cancer, infection, strictures, obstruction, or bleeding.

Anorectal Manometry

An in-office procedure, anorectal manometry assists in evaluation of fecal incontinence, childbirth injury, chronic constipation, or painful eliminations. To conduct the test, a small probe is placed in the rectum while the patient is asked to squeeze the pelvic floor muscle. We will work with you to ensure this test is as comfortable as possible.

Endoanal Ultrasound

Endoanal ultrasounds are conducted to identify abnormalities – such as fecal incontinence or pelvic floor injuries –  in the anal canal caused by childbirth. The ultrasound is conducted by placing a small probe into the rectum which transmits images to a nearby screen.
