Meet our pelvic floor physical therapist Ashley Freedman PT, DPT
Ashley attended Colorado State University where she earned her Bachelor's degree in
Health and Exercise Science with a concentration in Sports Medicine in 2015. She
furthered her education at Pacific University in Oregon where she received her
Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2018. Before specializing in pelvic floor therapy, she
worked in the orthopedic/ sports setting. Her background in orthopedics furthered her
ability to help women return to the physical activities that they love, during pregnancy,
postpartum and after pelvic/abdominal surgeries, without pelvic floor symptoms
Ashley has completed advanced education through the American Physical Therapy
Association training for treating women with pelvic health disorders related to
pregnancy or postpartum, urinary incontinence, pelvic floor pain, pain with intercourse,
constipation or fecal incontinence, and pelvic organ prolapse. I also have received
advanced training through the guidance of Dr. Kantartiz MD, MS, FACOG, Dr.
Stratford MD, MBA, FACOG. She worked alongside her mentor Andrea Levkowitz PT,
DPT for 2.5 years. She has been with the Woman’s Center of Advanced Pelvic Surgery
for the past three years.
She is deeply committed to this specialized field, integrating the latest research and
individualized treatment plans for all of my patients. Ashley believes every woman has a
different body, different pregnancy/birth, and different experiences with their health.
She believes in the power of a personalized approach, tailoring each treatment to meet
the unique needs and goals of my patients. With her expertise, training, and acquired
knowledge, she is confident she can help you with any pelvic floor-related concerns you
may be facing.
